HJC RPHA 12 Red Bull Austin GP II MC21 Helmet. The RPHA 12 is the combination of development and performance improvements to be a demanding and innovative predecessor of the successful RPHA 11. Made of a mix of carbon fibers, aramid and PIM EVO natural fibers with ECE 22-06 approval; it offers excellent comfort, protection and high lightness even at high speeds. The RPHA 12 stands out for its sporty style with aerodynamic profile and rear spoiler, the effective ACS adjustable ventilation system, the wide visor for a greater field of vision, and the double buckle closure for maximum security.

History of design

The Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas design by David Designs features a deep metallic shell finish highlighted by intense red and blue veining, carefully aligned to convey a powerful sense of speed and fluidity. Inspired by the event's retro aesthetic, this bold design captures the adrenaline-pumping, vibrant spirit of one of the most thrilling races on the calendar. Across the top, the iconic Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas branding combines with the HJC logo, creating a piece that unites racing, style, and heritage in a single visual expression.

External shell

• Shell made with a premium matrix and integrated PIM EVO: Reinforcement materials, including carbon and aramid fibers with natural fibers that provide greater impact resistance, greater comfort, and a lighter helmet.
• The aerodynamic structure of the shell has been designed to offer extreme performance at top speeds, thanks to its profile and rear spoiler, which have undergone rigorous wind tunnel testing.
• 4 shell sizes for a better fit in each size.

Ventilation

• ACS ventilation system consisting of 4 air inlets and 3 extractors for excellent airflow through the helmet's interior through strategic channeling that allows hot air to be evacuated quickly. It features adjustable inlets on the front and top with a low profile that reduces noise.

Screen

• Wider HJ-42 visor for a wider peripheral field of vision. It offers 99% UV protection and features an anti-scratch and anti-fog coating. Pinlock® compatible (included).
• The screen action system provides smooth ratcheting motion and improved sealing and soundproofing with the 2-way system.
• The screen mechanism allows for quick, tool-free assembly and disassembly of the screen.

Interior

• Advanced antibacterial fabric interior padding provides increased comfort during long sessions and excellent moisture and sweat wicking thanks to its quick drying properties. The crown and cheek pads are fully removable and washable.
• Emergency side padding removal system, allowing quick and easy removal of the padding in the event of an accident.
